In the heart of Gascony, the Rubens Spengler estate is located in the Bas-Armagnac region of the Gers department on the hillsides overlooking the village of Nogaro at a place called Rubens”. At the crossroads between the Pyrenees, the Atlantic Ocean and the Landes Forest, the estate enjoys exceptional conditions in the middle of what is a tangle of forests and other woods, vines and crops of all kinds, rivers and small lakes.
A natural rigor
As soon as they acquired the estate in the autumn of 2017, the Spengler family was keen to completely rethink all the cultivation and cellar practices that had previously been in force in order to put the environment and Nature immediately at the heart of their approach. This is why they also immediately equipped themselves with a new winery to match their ambitions.
